A 17th Century Coaching House, sympathetically restored and retaining its original features, the George Hotel is set in the heart of the market town of Melton Mowbray – famous for stilton and pork pies! We offer superb traditional facilities for pub meals and drinks in comfortable surroundings, including an enclosed patio area, combined with excellent hotel accommodation. All the main tourist attractions in Leicestershire and the superb shopping facilities at Fosse Park in Leicester are within easy reach. The George offers private function rooms or conference facilities for up to one hundred and forty people.
